1961 Frisco First Liners card. Nicest 6 out there.

I thought I was submitting a pack-fresh mint 1961 card for an easy 9 or 8.5 at worst. That thought was apparently way off. It came back as a 6. Please educate me and explain why so I know for future card submissions.

    Definitely not. OK. I didn't realize centering could knock a card down so much.

    Definitely not. OK. I didn't realize centering could knock a card down so much. >>




    You also have a little PD and some snow it appears.

    Card would be an 8 or higher except for the centering. That unfortunately knocked it down. Good looking card otherwise and super nice corners

    Thank you very much. Good learning experience. I'll certainly be more critical for future submissions. It's more obvious to me now that it's not mostly about sharp & shiny corners.

    The centering is a 7 at best. The fisheye gets me. I would have guessed a 7 prior to you sending in.

    The price difference between a 6 and a 7 does not warrant a re-submission.
    All your money won't another minute buy.

    Funny that people think PSA is combing over submissions saying knock this one down a grade
    so we can get another 6.00 in sub fees?

    Agreed. Also a curious choice of card with which to exercise this nefarious scheme.

    Also, don't worry about obscuring the cert number. For 99.99% it would never be considered as a candidate for counterfeiting and for the other .01% they can get the information elsewhere.
