1st Spouse Gold Coins Question,,,,,

GRANDAMGRANDAM Posts: 8,378 ✭✭✭✭✭
Does anyone know what the average cost per coin would be if someone purchased the entire run from The Mint at issue costs for BU and proof Coins?

I saw a post on 1st Spouse Coins and this question came to mind. image

The Liberty spouse coins bring a premium.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    That was a quick answer,,,,,,

So that would be roughly $740 per coin BU & $760 per coin Proof,,,,

That is $5 per coin less that the current LBJ issue price,,,,,,

    Who would have thought,,,,,,

    Thanks, GrandAm image

Sorry. I left out the Jackson Liberty PR/MS.

Corrected figure for the 76 items: Total is $58,253.26 for 76 items, or an average $766.49 per.

The early ones up through Polk all were under $700.

For real excitement, contemplate the fact that the Alice Paul ties the Lucy Hays for the highest issue price of $1,054 for the proofs. image

Estimated grading fees for the set is $3,062 non FS. Add another $18 per coin, putting it up to $4430 total grading fees (assuming one submitted sealed boxes at the end of the year to save on shipping and handling fees)

So if one is selling a full graded set, non first strike, they have roughly $61,300 into the set ($62,600 for FS).

Edit to add that is ~$807 per coin graded.
Gold is for savings. Fiat is for transactions.

BST Transactions (as the seller): Collectall, GRANDAM, epcjimi1, wondercoin, jmski52, wheathoarder, jay1187, jdsueu, grote15, airplanenut, bigole

So, did you grade all of these coins?

    If so how many 69/70's?

    Any less than 69?

I did not sumbit all my coins for grading, but all my coins are graded. Back in the day, MCM had great deals on 70s when they first came out. Sadly this is no longer the case.

    I run about 60% 70s when I submit.
