Can you determine the date of this very worn large cent?

I found this large cent while metal detecting on Friday. I'm curious about the date. Hopefully you experts can determine something more specific than 1816 to 1839. Thanks for whatever help you can provide. The coin will be soaking in olive oil for the next few months.

PS: That's the nice thing about detecting here in the Mojave Desert. This kind of damage never happens.
Of course no Large Cents were ever lost here either..

Vaguely looks like a Booby Head bust style, which would put the date at 1839....but that is just wild guess from
my wild imagination.

Definitely looks like it's from the later half of the 1830s. Poke around the varieties there.
