Picked this up last week. This has always been my favorite Gehrig card ever produced. #37 comes really close but it's always been this one for me.
I hope to reacquire a few of the 8 Gehrig & Ruth Goudeys that I used to own that helped me pay for college.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick them up at $400-$800 a piece like back then.

Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.

Not complaining, but just life in general. College, house, wife, kids, other hobbies.
Thanks for the welcome.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Wow - you really know how to reenter the hobby with a bang!
Congratulations on your pickup - a real beauty.
Best of luck "retrieving" those cards.

<< <i>Didn't anticipate finding another eye appealing Gehrig so soon, but this just got delivered. The grader must have been in a bad mood the day this came across the table.

HOLY CRAP! Really like the first one posted above but this is, in my opinion, one of the all-time most beautiful cards ever produced. This is a fantastic example. Congrats! That is one of the nicest 4's i've seen. Show the back.
