I asked him if these were 1971 racks and his reply was:

Yes this is a 1971 rack. New packaging and design, these racks have 12 cards.

You should ask him which 12 cards are in the rack.
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."

    Collecting:
Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.

I am going to respond by asking him if he could put a few Yankees on the top of the next one he makes.

I know I stated these look horrible but if someone was building a 1972 set, is 12 commons for $15 (if no one bids) a good price? I have no idea as I don't collect vintage.

The cards are Topps not OPC.

I asked the seller if the rack was made in 1971 or later and he told me this:

The cards are what is for sale, the packaging makes it easier to ship.

He later assured me that the cards are genuine 1971 issue though. Because we all know that shipping 12 cards is a difficult task.
