Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Just horrible news. Loved the guy. He wouldve been 85 a week from today, the same day his wife Kathie Lee turns 62 (and my dad turns 88).

It was just a little over a week ago at the national I was showing a few guys from the boards pics of my unopened collection and my Frank Gifford on top 58-60 cello run that I would always preface by saying "I love cello packs with Kathie Lee Gifford's husband showing on top".

As Jimmy Roberts of nbc sports said a few minutes ago, he was truly a giant, both on and off the field; RIP Frank.

May God rest his soul and bring comfort and protection to his widow and children.

I never saw Frank play, but very much enjoyed his sportscasting and game analysis on Monday Night Football. His voice was perfect, mello and easy to listen to and understand. A significant member of the unparalleled team of sports announcers at ABC Sports back in the day.

A sad day. We've lost a bunch of great ones this year. ---Indiana Jones (Brian Powell)

Sad news. Remembered watching MNF with Gifford, Cosell and Dandy Don in the booth for years. All three have now passed.

Yes, great point jomer; was thinking the exact same thing and was going to mention this in my post but decided not to: I figured most of the guys on the boards wouldn't even know who Hoda is and would think I was talking about Yoda from star wars and spelled his name incorrectly.

always find it funny that hoda's favorite music is country.

    ok, i'll stop.

Thanks Frank for your MNF anchoring. Watched them from the start. He was referred to as "Faultless Frank" in his MNF days.

    RIP Frank

I also grew up watching MNF and Gifford was awesome.

Yes the younger guys might not know about "the hit."

all his life Gifford would refuse to sign that picture.
