2015 FanFest

Anyone go to FanFest or any of the other all star events? I went this year and had a blast. I went to FanFest everyday and spend at least 5-7 hours a day. Waited in line for Fingers, Perry, Franco, Tiant, Jenkins autos and pictures. I would have been satisfied just going to
FanFest.

I went when the All Star Games were in Milwaukee and Chicago, but that was about 10-12 years ago. It actually got me back into collecting memorabilia and signed baseballs (eventually getting me back into cards). The two years I went I really enjoyed myself. Got autos from a handful of HOFers and greats that played on both the Brewers, Sox, and Cubs. I met Dan Patrick and got a ball signed by him, and remember that there was activities for kids, and obviously the autos line, but can't really remember what else was there.

Was there dealers there? Was it mostly game used stuff, or autos, or cards?

If you can, get a few pics of your haul. I'd love to see it!

There were dealers set selling pictures and balls. I don't think there were any dealers selling cards. I wasn't paying that much attention to the dealer tables. Yeah, there were a lot of activities for the kids. Under armour had a kids challenge, there were batting cages for kids and adults. They had a baseball field setup and the kids played a wiffle ball game against the adults, a T-Mobile sponsored event.I got in the cages. All the merchandise vendors, MLB, new era, majestic. Topps was giving out 5 card packs of 2014 & 2015 cards. Topps had a booth where you made a baseball card of ourself, they supplied a uniform(had every team). I bought Allstate batting gloves for my son.

I sat and watched the commission of baseball's 25 minute interview. Kinda of cool. Tons and tons of mascots. I think we got a picture with most of them. Of course the enormous FanFest baseball when you walk in. We got there early enough to that we got the giveaway each day. First 2000 people through the door.

I would recommend getting the 4 day pass. You don't even need to do any other all star events, plus those tickets are not cheap This will keep you busy. I'll look for the pictures and post later.

Tickets aren't cheap but there are early deals in certain days. In MN, they ran tons of deals later on and then once all the season ticket holders got theirs, there were even more tickets for sale
