The Fleer basketball and late 1970's baseball went for around 5-10% less than the BBCE site. I was surprised to see the 1986 Topps FB boxes go for more than recent selling prices, especially when one of the boxes is OPC wrapped.
Is $6000 a decent price for the 1991 Desert Storm Box? I thought $5K max. Also the 1974 Topps FB Box for $3300 seemed like a fair deal.
74 football box seemed like a pretty good price, the 82 donruss case went a little considering it's $2k at BBCE for the current break. the others common/similar though were right on the money it looks like.
1986 football has been strong for the past few months, people love those green cards.
not sure what you're saying about OPC on the 86, though? why would that really matter much?
The 1986 Topps FB Rack Box OPC Wrapped went for $2000. That is more than a box listed on OPC site and more than recent BBCE wrapped sales. There is a BBCE box on ebay at $1850 with a Rice on the back.
I know it is one sale, but I would think someone overpaid for that box.
I didn't know about the auction until the last minute and by then I hadn't registered to bid in time. I would have been interested in the 72 basketball box. I think that's a good deal. It is going for about the same price as a 1980-81 box and it houses an iconic RC and it stands to reason there are far fewer of these boxes available.

kinda weird to sell for that much considering there are other available options cheaper and basically equivalent
wonder how long those will last now
