$28,000 1986 Topps Card

Has 4SC lost their mind or is this really that close to the price? This is an uber hard card and with the crazy prices of 80s rookies, i guess i would have guess in the 10-15K range if pressed (there still haven't been anywhere near as many graded as Rice). $30K does seem kinda insane.

That's got to be one of the highest multipliers between a 9 and 10. Nice looking 9s are only $400.

There are only FIVE PSA 10's.... this is a TUFF card even in PSA 9.

At least the pictures are a little more better than they usually are. Looks like a nice card!

It does look like a nice card. That card is prone to Centering issues and pd's. I seriously don't see it selling for that much though .

Edit: After looking at it some more, I'm not a fan of the l/r centering. I need to have my $28, 000 cards to be perfectly centered lol

    Completely absurd.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

If I were selling a card of that value, I'd give it a tap so that it doesn't appear crooked in the holder.

The absurd thing is that the card isn't even Young's rookie.

It is just amazing to me that 80's rookies can sell for so much. Makes me wonder how much the pop numbers
    Increasing will effect the values.
