Does this Mantle look trimmed ?

This is the third time I have seen this on eBay. Looking at the back pic the top of the card looks to have been trimmed. Maybe that's why it's stuck in that SCD holder?

  • I saw this yesterday. (there is or was also one listed in a KSA slab as well)
It looks real when i compared to another. I use this site:

HOW TO SPOT A FAKE MANTLE #311
After i saw you ask if trimmed- i looked as well, perhaps? the spacing is there compared to the other shown. More concerned with the edge, if it been sanded. I dont think i seen one that close to the edge before, with the front looking good.
The corner, especially B-L is that a stain or paperloss maybe?
The Seller does state: its 100% Authentic and Unaltered...so if it doest crossover, then return it i guess???
Make sure to tell the seller of your plans upfront. Perhaps make a deal off Ebay& guranttee this

I wish i knew how to overlapp pics, someone on the net54 side knows how, wish i did.
For comparison's sake (i compared it to one of Deans listings that has the back to the edge as well:

I have no doubt that the card is genuine but why is it still being sold in that slab? The last seller seems to deal in a lot of Psa graded 52's but left in that slab also.

  • NOTICE:
Just learned from a Net54 board member that theres a BOGUS LISTING on that DEAN's card (not of referece to the OP's SCD card)
    Here are the links/pics:
This is one from DEANS listing:

And notice this Ebay seller with the exact pic without cropping out Deans name:

  • Only $19,800? If it wasn't for the obvious scamming, I'd be all over it!
  • What's the final verdict on this Mantle? What would it grade if someone were to send it to PSA?

Last seller said it did not cross. Someone's paying big $ for an Authentic slab.
