Hello! New member to the boards. I have lurked for the last few months and finally wanted to say hello. My thanks already for some great information and thoughts from this board.
I grew up in the junk wax era, and got away from the hobby around 1990. Got the itch a few months back and have pulled together a small collection. I do find myself gravitating to the all time greats. May not have as many cards that way, but those I am able to collect are very special. From the discussions, seems I may not be alone in that approach! My focus is primarily pre-1950...early pickups are Cobb, W. Johnson, C Mathewson, Jackie R, Ted W, Dimaggio...
Also have a fondness for ripping vintage wax. Late 70s has been my go to initially, but boy that seems to be a tough game. I started to put together a graded 70s pack collection...1 pack from each year...1971 is nearly impossible to find.
I will try to contribute where I can and share pickups along the way...
All the best!

Welcome, amigo!
There's a member named cpamike who will probably have heart palpitations after he reads this little snippet, but that's neither here nor there.
