Late 70s OPC Rip

Will be ripping some packs throughout the day in an effort to complete a 25 card drop off sub for National.
On the block are a 78 and 2 of the 79s I just got from Tim.
More to come.
BTW: it is 5:00 somewhere right? It's noon in the West and I'm already on the bottle. Hopefully I get a little love or who knows where this rip might lead.

If only Rose and Brooks had the centering of Messersmith or League Leaders.
Might have to drop another Newcastle before the next pack.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Hopefully the stars align on the next pack.
Fun rip for a Friday afternoon.
Thanks for watching.

I agree. I once opened a '79 OPC pack, and one of the cards was SO off center and miscut, that it was an entirely different player showing!

Even with the lower per pack price vs 79 Topps, the 79 OPC set is a very undervalued one, in terms of just how difficult it is to put together in NM+ grade.
