Why is someone trying to access my account here?

I received this email tonight. Has anyone ever experienced this?
Dear xxxxxxxxxx,
Someone has tried to log into your account on Sports Card Forum - Sports Cards Community with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.
The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: xxxxxxxxxx

Maybe they saw that you are receiving ”private messages” and went to investigate what you are up to.

I think Dan is correct~if it were from CU, it would also be signed Forum Admin.

I got one of those too back on the 10th. The offending IP address was overseas. However, that doesn't really mean anything since proxies can be used to fake one's location.
So, probably not spam. Someone's trying to crack sportscardforum.com accounts.
