qualifier questions?

is it correct in my assumption that they do not do half grade w/ qualifiers? ie, 1.5(oc), 7.5(st), 8.5(pd)

can not say I've ever seen or noticed one....

if so, why wouldn't everyone simply request no qualifiers?

aren't you basically shorting yourself on the potential of a half grade by not doing so?

never really questioned it until I just saw a card listed by 4sc that really wasn't that bad of a 9(oc) and thinking about snagging, cracking and resubmitting w. no qualifiers.

I would be extremely happy w a 7.5 for this version....and it's a big leap from a 7 slash 9(oc) to a 7.5

They will put a qualifier on a 1.5, but not the rest of the half grades.

    did not know that. thanks!

has anyone ever noticed a notable price difference of a 9oc selling higher than a straight 7? 8st over a straight 6?

just cant fathom why a bulk submitter like 4sc hadn't figured this out and still doesn't request "no qualifiers"....

If you see a card on 4SC's site with a qualifier, it is a consignment.

As for the 9OC selling for more than 7s, that is a common occurrence with a lot of more modern HOF rookies. The Brett is one that always comes to mind. You can get a "high end" 7 for $100 or less. A 9OC will cost you $150-175.
