Snipe fail?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else had snipes set tonight that didn't execute? I use gavelsnipe and had three set for around 7:00 pacific that did not execute. These were my first failures using gavelsnipe.

Does this happen a lot? I've been thinking about using gavelsnipe...currently I do it manually to prevent something like what you guys experienced.
  • Patrick--it is very rare. A fraction of a percent. So rare that an outage, even for a tiny window, get its own thread like this. I should also add that my snipe 30 mins later, at approx 10:45, went off fine, so the issue appears to be resolved.

I was unable to load a snipe earlier this evening so I believe the site is having issues. They are usually 100% reliable.

  • I had 7 snipes set through Auction Sniper & none of them went through tonight

I had a couple of snipes fire earlier in the day. It was only the ones tonight that failed. I would say it feels a little better knowing I'm not the only one, but I'm sorry the rest of you had problems too.

Auction Sniper failed for me as well. Said "Need to confirm eBay account"

So I typed in the numbers 10 times and it still won't Snipe for me.
  • Biddingscheduler has never failed me and it is rare for a day to go by that I don't have at least 1 snipe set.
