Any Dan Marino Autograph Experts Around?

If it's not an Andre Dawson Autograph, I could be fooled rather easily. I spent most of my collecting life as a Dawson collector. I'll be the first to admit that I've never once looked for Dan Marino's signature until about 2 minutes before this auction ended when I came across it while looking for something completely different minutes ago...

Are these legit? I had just enough time to look at a couple signatures listed on eBay and run the sellers name and the user name on the back of the COA's. I found nothing of note other than mike5961 is no longer a registered user on eBay. He did have over 7,000 feedbacks. It doesn't show his percent though. I did click on a 10 random pages and didn't see any negatives.

I guess if they aren't legit, I should be covered by eBay/PayPal? I appreciate any info!

i strongly disagree - there's a few that look like they might be, but there are so many that are obviously no good it kind of taints the entire lot, know what i mean?

for instance, in the 3rd photo - the 1986 topps and the skybox impact are definitely not good. in the 4th photo - the 1985 and 1987 are no good, the 89 score and 90 topps are no good. i kind of stopped the detailed review after that but i did flip through the other pictures, i'd say well less than half are good. SI for kids is terrible, 88 topps is terrible, i could go on but won't.

i honestly think some are probably ok, but again the number of bad ones certainly raise questions about all of them.

good luck with whatever you decide to do, however...

BE WARNED: if you do submit them for authentication, it is my strong opinion that well less than half would get slabbed authentic. i'd estimate something around 20% or even less.
