Does anyone know a helpful live body at Stacks and Bowers?

I posted this on the U.S. Forum as well, but maybe one of you could help too....the alleged auction in question was all US stuff, in April. I'm pretty darn sure I did NOT bid in the auction. Anyway, this is what I posted over there:

<<I tried to make an online bid and got a message that my bidding limit was zero. I sent an email asking why and got back a snotty response that I had not paid for a previous item (!!??!!??!) and I needed to make a $500 deposit if I wanted to bid.

She didn't give an item number, only an order number and which auction. My actual account shows only one invoice, all paid up and no outstanding items. I reviewed the auction and it was for material I don't collect, and as it was only a few months ago I would think I'd remember buying outside my normal habits! I even checked my email history and nada. No bid notifications, no auction win and no invoice.

I tried emailing and calling and the response so far has been a deafening silence. I'm going to call in the morning, but I'd like to go straight to a 'real person'. >>

Does anyone have a name or extension that might help? PM please though. I'm sure it's a simple clerical error, but I'd rather talk to someone competent as the twit who sent me that email does not seem to qualify.

Personally, I have as little to do with Stack's as possible. However, I do have a contact who may or may not be helpful. I will PM.
