Grade this Aaron RC

Just want get some opinions on this card. Thinking about sending it in for a crossover and wanted to see what the forum thought this might come back as. There are no creases or wrinkles on the card and the white marks on the bill of his hat and to the left are not on the card.

I'll say PSA 6 or 6.5, assuming of course there is no paper loss on the back.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    PSA 8(oc) or PSA 6

Seems closer to a 7 for me, though I always prepare for a grade lower. That being said, as a 6 I would call it high end.

8 OC. Looks like its in an SGC 86 slab now. I'd leave it there. Nice card!

I could see it in a 7 holder...but are there surface issues?

The top of the card appears to slope downward, it doesn't look straight. Maybe 7 o/c.

T/B centering, IMO, puts it in an O/C slab ... most likely a "7". You might be better off asking for no qualifiers and maybe get a straight 6. GOOD LUCK! Other than the thin bottom border, card looks NICE!

Edited to add: The blurry (color bleed) name may play a role in the grade as well.
    STAY HEALTHY!

The edges look cleaned up to me. I'm surprised I'm the only one to see it that way

    6-7

    Very nice card!
  • I'm never right but I say 8oc or possible 7. Corners look pretty nice, I had one grade a 7 once & this one is better.
  • Nice card 6.5 or 7.

8 OC but ask for no qualifiers........and get a 6.

IMO keep in the SGC case where centering isn't as big of an issue for the grade.

    AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    7
I'm a big Nolan Ryan fan OK???!!!
  • Nice, whatever the grade is. But i also looked at it maybe 'trimmed' as well, especially the top. Trimmed
If however it is not...its a gorgous specimen. Maybe somewhere along 5-7 ranges.

  • So, what's the grade?

Thanks for all the feedback. The card is currently an SGC 7. I am still on the fence regarding submitting it to PSA. If I do, I'll let you all know the results.

Regarding the trimmed comments......I measured the card and it measures correctly. I also looked at all the edges in a loop and the edges looked like edges of other cards in my collection (PSA graded ones) so it doesn't appear to be trimmed (at least to my novice eyes).
