POLL: Top Pop Bonus Points

Let's try again. Looks like 4G dropped just about all I typed.
It like opinions on the new Bonus Point system. Do you like it?
I hate it. A score of 10 is probably no longer a perfect set. My scores should be based on my cards and not someone elses. If PSA insists on keeping it, they should at least give the user access to old system score computations.
If the current system was in effect when I decided to start collecting graded cards, I wouldn't have chosen PSA.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

<< <i>I thought weighted ratings were ridiculous. I deleted almost 100 sets when they went to half grades. This just completes the jumping of the shark. >>

Not saying if that is a good thing or a bad thing, just a mathematical observation.
p.s. Just using the "parallel analogy" of the Spinal Tap movie clip illustrates the absurdity of the whole thing.

Agree with this. Fun is in completing the set.

I don't care about the new system. I will never be at the top of most of the sets I collect so it has almost no effect on me. I do wish they would add another column to show your rating without the bonus. ( the old way )
I'm at 5.84, finest possible used to be 5.93 or so, it's now 7.26.
Completely pointless, and makes no sense at all. Guess I'm done with the registry completely, and will probably start collecting more of a mix of graded cards than before.
Really ill conceived idea.
