i happen to have 2 Bob Petit rookies that are really beat up, i would love to send them both off to Bob to be signed but i am worried he would not sign them both, how should i proceed?

Send cash. Unless you've heard otherwise, it doesn't need to be a lot. Just enough for him to know you appreciate his time. Maybe others can chime in with how much is appropriate.

I don't think Mr Petit would mine signing them both at all. I sent him a card back last June. He signed it as well as all 3 of the index cards I put in the sase for security. His response time can vary from days to months from all the successes I've seen from him.
