So the humidity in my basement is over 70

That's too high for storing cards, right? Probably too high in general. I know it's been humid here lately but Michigan is one big swamp and this weather is not unusual. Probably need to move my cards, right?

    I would run a dehumidifier down there. That level is not good for storing anything and will promote mold and mildew growth.

    Bingo.... plus the odor alone would drive me bonkers.

    Way easier than moving all your cards. Plus your wife won't get mad when you clutter up all the corners, of every room in the house, with cards haha

    I have one that pumps right into my drain.. it is great.. costs around $300 or so and you will smell and feel a difference right away

    Thanks. Going to get a good dehumidifier this weekend. The basement doesn't smell or anything but you definitely get a noticeably different feeling when you are down there.

    Lol. As someone that grew up in the mitten, I appreciate that! Probably tons of "Up North" and "m-22" logos on their subarus. The pinkie is Gods country and a locals secret before them darn internets started Showing up.
