1984 Topps baseball sheets - who is on which sheet?

Does anyone know of a source which lists what cards are on which uncuit sheets of 1984 Topps Baseball? I just bought a couple of cut card cases and I opened one, which looks to all be sheet A and I am just trying to find out what players may be in this box. I have another case that is unopened as of now, so if anyone has info on players from other sheets that would be great to know too.

Thanks

Do you have a set handy to look at? If so the sheet letters are on the back. Also, have you tried googling 1984 topps sheet for images? Just a stab in the dark, but you may find a few. Also check ebay for current and past sales, there should be some pics there too.

Of course, the first one I looked for was Mattingly - I found out he was on Sheet A. I was happy for a moment, until I went through the case and noticed there was only 22 different players in the whole case. This translates to about 400 of each card in this case. No Mattingly, but Nolan Ryan was in there. Some of the other cards include Gary Carter, Molitor, Fisk, Trammell, plus a few other minor stars. I'll break the other case tonight and see if it yields the same cards.

Sorry I can't be of any help. Gameusedhoop already gave my suggestions. I was wondering what a cut card case is. I have heard this terminology before but I don't know what this type of product is. Thanks.

I believe that is was basically overrun/excess printing that they just cut up and packed into boxes instead of packaging in packs of cards. I have seen online and at the nationals single sheet and mixed 2 sheets cases. I assume they were wholesaled out really cheap to major dealers like the other excess inventory they had.

Case #2 was not as good as the first. It did contain Sheet A cards again, but instead of the Ryan group again, it contained Seaver and Yount as the two big cards. The cards were pretty nice overall - decent centering and for the most part nice corners, except for the ones on the end. Hopefully I can pull a few nice Ryans to submit.

I thought these boxes would contain ALL of the cards froma specific sheet, not just some. That would have yielded about 65 of each card - 65 Mattingly's would have been nice.

A true "cut card" case contains 132 different cards from specific sheet.
There will be dozens of each card. These were available through 1989,
    maybe later.
