It is for me, at 45 minutes away. However, it does not deserve to be called a "national," and I would not travel 2+ hours....

I used to go to all the White Plains shows but I have heard they aren't what they used to be.

A great show. Well worth the trip. Autograph guest and dealers from pre war to modern I have always done well at the show. What are you looking for ? I maybe able to direct you to a certain dealer.

I have yet to go in August but I did go early in the year and had a good time. They tell me the show is larger and better in August so I hope to drive to the show and find out for myself.

Thanks for your reply. Mainly considering going to drop off a group of cards for grading, purchase some wax boxes, and the "whatever catches my eye" in my price consideration realm.

  • Is there a lot of recent basketball cards there ? In other words, many dealers that have chairs in front of their tables to go thru their 10 cent or 25 cent boxes, but usually it's all baseball and/or football. I'm asking do they have more than one small box of basketball ? Any and all recent basketball cards ? Thx.
