1970 Topps Cello Series 3 Rip

So I had my eye for awhile on this horrendous 1970 Cello pack with a horrifically o/c Amos Otis on the front. I was intrigued because it had an Angel Bravo on the back. Allow me to elaborate.
Wben I was a kid in 1982, I bought a 1970 series 3 cello (for $9) and kept all the cards from that pack together through the years. Amos Otis and Angel Bravo were among the cards. As were Tom Seaver and Lou Brock!!
So I surmised that this pack had to have a 90% chance of having Seaver and/or Brock. And I was dying to find out, despite the horrid centering on the Otis.
So I bought it, ripped it and guess what? No Seaver or Brock!!! Oh the humanity.
Forgive me, I did not take a picture of the intact cello. This rip was going to be my own little shameful secret. But there are some things worthy of note about this pack.
Here is horrible Amos.
More to come

Just drop that baby in the mail, I help you get rid of that crappy OC card. I think I still need that one for my set, lol.
Well done Chris!!!

<< <i>Nice Carew! Goes to show that even a poorly centered showing card doesn't necessarily mean the pack is doomed to a full deck of 90-10's. >>
Agreed.
Sharp cards, Chris!

Thanks for posting. Like most here, it's fun to see these rips!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
What are your plans for the cards?
Nice Carew and Freehan. Hoping a few more nicely centered cards come out of it.
Any chance you can post the order of the cards as the came out in each group of 11?
Dave
<< <i>I'm planning on subbing the Murcer, Carew and Salmon on the $18 special and the Bravo, Freehan and a couple others on the $5.75 special. >>
Chris - Why submit with different specials? Will PSA look more favorably on cards submitted at a higher price point? (Serious question from a very infrequent submitter).

I think it has more to do with the guaranteed turnaround time. I can tell you from experience that level of service has no effect on what your cards will grade at.

Daniel, that is a great question. Actually Grote is partially correct. I am impatient. Murcer is a tough in 8 or 9 and Salmon just looks so good that I want them back quick. But I could have just easily subbed those on the $5.75 special.
However, Carew I would never sub on the $5.75 special. It's a $200+ card in a 9. I don't know what they're doing back there at PSA but I am going to give that sucker as much of a chance as possible!
Thanks,

Carew is a blazer. Not sure if upper right corner has something going on
from this photo, but assuming its just the scan I can't believe it would not
make it into at least a 9
