Thank you LordM for this king

Through LordM's generosity I was able to purchase this 1833-T 5 Franc Louis Philippe I as a start for my French royalty.
Not an uncommon coin by any means this NEN example is a step up for me in terms of grade. Years ago I
would have been quite happy with unslabbed VF or EF but not any more-quality over quantity I guess.
This coin caught my eye because of its noticeable cameo effect. The fields have a nice blueish tone against
which the silvery portrait stands out.
I don't dare go for any higher grade than AU or I'll never be able to afford them. Very happy with this one though.
Thanks again to the Mighty Marcovan.

.
As to my generosity, I would reply, "what comes around goes around".
'Tis but a drop in the bucket when compared to all the fundraising work you did to make my England detecting trip a reality two years ago.
I will never forget the spontaneous kindness of everyone who pitched in for that.
