One can go nuts looking up these items.

Fortunately, there is the Utrecht Insane Asylum "krankzinnigengesticht" which celebrated it's 400th anniversary on 31 January 1861
and struck this medal to commemorate the event.

Hmm ... Krankzinnigengesticht …

I dunno what "nnigenge" means but I'm pretty sure I can translate "Krankzi" (cranky) and "sticht" (censored) as in, what my toddler does when he doesn't get enough sleep.

As a footnote, the gent whose collection this came out of was a psychiatrist. A Dutch psychiatrist at that.
