WTG Smitty! Nice week for you. Wow, I'm surprised that guy still had the '67 Robinson available ... a $5.00 card and all he was asking was $40.00! LOL
    STAY HEALTHY!

Sweet. I assume the price was right. Did you price individually or make offer on the lot?

I just had to pass on a nice collection of about 40 48 Leafs (including DiMaggio, Wagner, Spahn and Musial) and some Red Hearts (including Mantle) and 61 Bell Chips Dodgers. I made what I thought was actually a strong offer knowing that all funds were going to a scholarship fund. But the guy donating used SCD, had a value of 9k and was asking 5k. My valuation was closer to 3k, which was also my offer since it was a good cause and came with a write off. Oh well. I really wanted them, especially since I've known the seller since mid-80s and this was the only piece of his collection he kept when he sold out in the early 90s. But I could buy the 10 cards I wanted for about 2500, so in the end it just didn't make sense.

    Good luck.
