Additional 1% back on eBay purchases

I know that there is currently 4x eBay bucks promotion going on so I though I'd share the fact that you can get an additional 1% back any time by using Mr. Rebates. It's not much but it can add up if you also order from other stores. I've done pretty well since signing up.

Here's my lifetime total (not bragging just showing how things add up over time)

Thanks for the heads up. I use Ebates which I think is a similar program. Thunderdan mentioned they do eBay and it is 1% base rebate and sometimes up to 2%. I use Ebates for other purchases and you are right. It adds up. If you're going to buy something online anyway it is a great way to get some money back.

Good to know, thanks. I have an Ebates account too but didn't realize the brought eBay back as well.

Nice referral ID tag in your original link.

Did you mean for this to be a spam thread from the get go?

Probably 1/2 of the threads on this message board are related to eBay in some way. I'm watching a thread where Nikklos paid $6000.00 for a case of 1980 rack packs. His eBay bucks are capped at $100, why not get an additional $60? (which can be transferred to PayPal and not limited to eBay). Did I use a referral tag? Sure why not. But, I would have suggested using this service - tag or no tag. It's really a no brainer to me and I use it a lot - not just for eBay. Here's a snip of my rebates for the last month and a half (in case you have doubts).

  • As with many things, it wouldn't be a problem if you were upfront in disclosing it. Repping the site under the pretense that you had nothing to gain when you really did just comes off as skeezy.
