    Sounds exciting!

Can you give the back story on why it is your while whale? I assume the card is very rare and just like to learn about cards.

Awesome John! Was this part of the big lot from Legendary recently? Tremendous card and impossible set!

    +1

VCP lists the 1910 T229 as "PET CIGARETTES". Is it the same thing?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

This did come from the last Legendary auction. T229 Kopec is an extremely very rare Northern California issue from 1911 (although typically erroneously dated 1910). The issue has a second back, PET Cigarette, that Burdick originally designated T224, but later combined with T229. I've been searching for a Jack Johnson sample for darn near a decade - I missed one in a Mile High auction a few years ago. This is the first example graded by PSA; I believe SGC has graded three PETs, but no Kopecs. I am pumped!

For reference, I have been looking 12 years for a Kopec Gotch and found only one in a private collection. I appreciate this score as much as any one collector!
