FASC - Cello box or Wax box?

When buying 70's and 80's boxes FASC--- do you prefer cello boxes or wax boxes?

I think the FASC designation is more valuable when you can easily see the cards showing. So, I would place the premium as cello (and rack) over wax. As for what I prefer to collect: it would go rack first and cello and wax equal. One interesting thing I have noticed over the last couple years is the inversion of prices in cello and wax boxes. When I was collecting as a teenager in the 90's cello boxes sold for more than wax boxes for 70's and 80's boxes. Now wax can command a significant premium over cello in some cases. For instance a BBCE 79 wax box can probably had for around $1600 give or take $100 while a wrapped cello can be had for around $1200 give or take. In that scenario, I think the value is better for the cello box.

Steve hit it on the head based on the ability to cherrypick packs. My favorite packs to collect are racks so that would be my choice for the FASC designation on rack boxes too.

    Collecting:
Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.
