Enjoyed watching him play and subsequently on MLB Network as a commentator.

    Apparently, his gf killed him, then committed suicide. Their 14 month old son was unharmed.

    Just saw this on ESPN. Sad to hear about this. I remember when he played for the Giants. RIP and condolences to the family (sounds like he now has an orphaned infant son).

    This is very said and very messed up.

    One of the best outfielders of his generation is gone.

    How very tragic. Mostly for the child as now not only will it grow up without it's patents but the question as to why the events happened the way they did. Prayers for the family.

    That's the sad world we live in.

    When Dale Earnhardt died, I had a bunch of stuff I could have sold for some good money but couldn't bring myself to do it. That stuff still sits in my closets.
