Topps Factory SEal Question

Did Topps put 'tape' on their factory sealed cases?

I'm looking at a factory sealed 81 topps traded and one of the pics shows tape on the bottom of the box, but seller says it's factory sealed.

I am pretty sure that the Traded sets had tape on them from the factory. This is how I have seen 1981 Traded sets.

I should have mentioned I was referring to the case itself. The bottom of the factory case has tape. I'm not sure if this is norm or even a factor for legitimacy. The top is stapled and seller indicates it is factory sealed.
