MARKETING FIRST STRIKE & BIRTH YEAR 2015 PROOF COINS AGAIN

It amazes me that in the last five years the dealers and the two major third party grading firms have decided that the collectors would rather have the First Strike label or the Birth Year label on their current year proof coins (cents, nickels, dimes, quarters & half dollars) instead of the standard label. PCGS-light blue. During this period, the US Mint has released their annual Proof Sets in the early Spring and there has been NO significant quantity of standard labels produced by the grading firms until summer. The only certified coins available for sale of 2015 Proof coins are the First Strike and Birth Year. Check out EBAY. It is bad enough that as a Proof Lincoln cent collector I have had to settle for the same shield reverse on the front of the PCGS slab instead of the traditional Lincoln head with the DATE on the front of the PCGS slab. I also have to wait well into the summer to order my coin in order to get the standard label without all the BS writing. Well, at least this year I may get lucky and get the NEW improved PCGS slab as a bonus for waiting. Any other collector of these current year denominations feel the same way I do? Steve
