I would like to comment on the player you got that appears on the Ramly. He is "Colby" Jack Coombs, one of the best pitchers in baseball during that time. I first learned of Jack about 50 years ago in a baseball history cartoon/caption that used to appear in our Chicago Tribune once a week. That piqued my interest because I'd never heard of him. His stats are mighty impressive. I won't tell you any more. Just look up Jack Coombs on Wikipedia and Baseball-Reference.com. Trust me, you will be impressed. He should have been on a T-206, it would seem.
To the point, Coombs is the star, by far, of the bunch. ---Indiana Jones (Brian Powell)

Man, I sure do love the colors on those 206's. I used to collect 33 Goudey's and the colors weren't as good. I was looking at some on the Bay last night trying to resist temptation to start that up again. I also like the Ramly card. I have never seen one of those. Love the old pre-war stuff!

Wow, just check out his numbers for the 1910 season 31 -9, 1.30 era, ************ 35 complete games ********** (that's a career for pitchers nowadays) and 13 shutouts. So yes, definitely should have been on a T206. -- Jack Coombs
