New deep blue 1880 Morgan, that's right, no S

Got this one from the Long Beach Heritage auction and my heart skips a beat when I look at it. I really like 'blueberry' toned Morgans, but I think this one is the bluest of all in my collection; it 'glows' when looed at in hand. What adds a little spice is that it is a Philly Morgan, which is a bit scarcer. The reverse has a nice golden tone too.

    That is gorgeous!! It reminded me of the one I picked up raw. No where near the condition of yours. But the color screamed to me.

    I too love the great blue color in your coin. The gold accent color at 5 o'clock really sets the coin off. So why would anyone want blast white, other than RickO of course? Too bad there does not exist a grading scale for toning. I'd rather have your toned coin than a 65 DMPL.
