Sellers pics and inhand pics

Sometimes the difference in seller vs buyer pics are drastic, sometimes unacceptable, sometimes costly either way.
Here is a coin that was shown in an earlier post in photo one(sellers pic). Photo two(inhand photo) is quite different.
I purchased the coin due to the oddity of coin look in sellers pic. I am not the least bit upset due to the price I paid
was very low. I will keep this coin, but wish it had looked like sellers pic. Something just caught me and interested
me in the sellers pic. I know the coin is severely environmentally damaged and that was never a question.

    although i'm not one to talk as i've bought and still do...some real dogs in this world of coins

    The gray tones grabbed my attention. I thought they looked far different than any IHC coloring I had ever
    seen and for under $10 I didn't feel I could be hurt. Upon receipt, the coin was just a typical color dug up coin.
    I didn't mean to complain about the seller, merely that why change the photos for this particular coin, when it
    did not hide the environmental damage anyway. I guess that it sold the coin though, huh? Lol
