How many 1916-d dimes still exist?

Not looking for arguments, just numbers. Figure out an attrition rate and pick a number.
Original mintage was 264,000. When the RedBook first appeared in 1946 a VF was priced at $15. Unc at $60. Clearly good reason to go find them.
Much of the varying logic (or lack of it) can be found in the thread below. I know survival rates for 19th century seated coins....it doesn't quite transfer over cleanly to the 20th century.

Consider re submissions over the the years and the amount raw out there I would guess 11,000-15,000 is a really good guess (between 4-5% of the mintage)
