Here is is a very low mintage (10,500) gold dollar that is very tough to find. Unlike some of the low mintages from the 1880's this date was not saved in quantity. This one was graded 20+ years ago and is very undergraded by today's standards. In a second generation old green holder. I believe it would grade at least a 58 to 62 today. A great strike and beautiful color with prooflike surfaces. I have owned this coin since submitted long ago. Much better than my photos!
