I'm with him. I'm a bit confused on how profound is being used/defined? I'd much rather accomplish completing a goal than get profoundly angry when I stub my toe. Or is profound being used as meaning "having great knowledge" i.e., it's better to be deeply knowledgable than to just check things off the to do list?
