The PSA 9?

Or the PSA 8.5?

The 8.5 is mine and I am always looking for a 9 but the register on this one is killing me.

8.5 all the way. it appears to be a high end 8.5. The 9's a low ender

Out of focus cards drive me crazy.

I think it's nuts that grading companies don't reduce the grade for out of focus cards. A crisp image is far more important than centering to me.

PSA has a qualifier for it, but it's far more elusive than a half grade: Example

The piece de resistance of a picture card is indeed the picture. Your 8.5 has a picture worthy of a 9. The technical 9 has a picture worthy of a 6. While you didn't initially choose between them, you have the right card, mate, and a still hefty grade as well. Be at peace, bro. Forget that particular 9. Furthermore, your 8.5 is going to be very difficult to improve upon. ---Indiana Jones (Brian Powell)

Totally agree. I'd send that 8.5 in for a review. What do you think is keeping it out of a 9 or 10 holder?

The lower right corner looks like it has some wear.

I would take the PSA 8.5 all day long because the PSA 9 makes me feel dizzy looking at it.

8.5 all day.

Not sure why PSA doesn't seem to put a lot of stock in photo quality while grading.
I'm always seeing out of register 8's and 9's on ebay.
