    It's now over $10k which isn't surprising given low pop. I agree this is not the best centered 10 that's been available.

    Wow, $10,988 final price.

    I thought the $4k BGS 9.5 looked nicer. Took a run at it, but came up short.

    The PSA 10 from PWCC went for $16,100. Amazing move higher for this card!

    I'm not too surprised this iconic card has increased recently. Iconic, low pop, high grade key rookie cards from sports other than hockey have blazed the trail. When buyers see what Rickey Henderson, Walter Payton, and other sports PSA 10s are auctioning for today, low pop (34) PSA 10 of hockey icons like Mario naturally follow suit. Hockey has a smaller collector base than the other major sports but it was only a matter of time before Gretzky OPC PSA 9's cracked the $25k barrier and Lemieux $16k.
