1982 Fleer Test Ripken

I see PWCC has two closing tomorrow night.
Any experts out there on these on what a value is on them?

I am not an expert by any means on the card but recall a BGS 9 going for close to 3k a year or so ago of the Cal Ripken named version.

These two examples look pretty sharp. Does PSA no longer assign a grade to them and just grade them AUTH?

    Does anyone know about #grade?

The one Ripken/Ford card they graded an 8 was most likely an oversight. I'd be amazed if they started grading them anything but authentic again.

is the reason why they wont grade them with a number grade because they are sheet cut?

I don't think that's it as much as the fact that they're proofs (or similar to proofs). They certainly grade a ton of cut-from-sheet cards.

I still don't get why they don't grade them.
Any idea how many there are of them?

I heard back from customer service and they confirmed they authenticate these. I didnt bother poking ash why because I bother a lot about grading random foreign sets...so I'll bother the board with the question. Any ideas why they authenticate a card but not grade it. Doesn't really made sense to me unless they were trimmed of altered which doesn't seem to be the case here
