Had a chance today to visit BGS/JSA in Dallas for some same day slabbing. I'm not patient enough to send items off for authentication much anymore because I like instant gratification and not having to wait for months on stuff to come back. Sure wish PSA/DNA would come to Dallas and bring their slabbing machine and I'd go visit them with stuff, but right now that's not an option.
I did well today.
I don't really collect unsigned items too much, but I do take some cards in trade every now and then and buy one every once in a while if it's one of the hobby icons and has upside potential IMO. Got this one slabbed today
1935 National Chicle Bronko Nagurski
That's it for cards, now on to the graphs.
A Texas legend, Sam Houston, he captured Santa Anna at San Jacinto and led Texas to it's independence from Mexico. Nice signed free frank.
Next up is one that I picked up as part of a lot where I was mainly interested in the Neil Armstrong (Armstrong sold today so not picturing it) but the Mike Collins came with it.
Astronaut Mike Collins
This one doesn't go in a slab because it's a book, but it now has a full JSA LOA coming. Famed Notre Dame football coach, Knute Rockne
A Ty Cobb signed photo of the image of him sliding into third, inscribed to a Heisman winner and his wife
A 1767 document filled out by one of the founding fathers, John Hanc*** (the electronic sensor won't allow me to post a thread with his last name LOL)
And finally, a document signed by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella (The Catholic Monarchs that sent Columbus on his voyage) in 1492, 522 years old

Justin, I tend to agree with you the last couple years about the Rangers, but below is a special image for you from today LOL
Packerjohn, no sir, the Nagurski is not for sale right now, however, if you happen to have a nice John Adams autograph (not John Quincy, but John) or a nice 4 Horsemen of Notre Dame autographed piece available, I could be persuaded to work some type of trade. The only thing for sale of the items pictured would be the Michael Collins as that was just a part of a lot that I bought for something else.
Here ya go Justin
