Want to Buy 1996-W G$5 Smithsonian & Cauldron in PCGS MS70

An interesting thread recently was started by HighDesert speculating that some folks may be waiting
until June to enter new sets or to upgrade sets just for the PCGS contest. I am one of those people,
but in my case it is fortuitous rather than by design. [I would add, even if there are people out there
who are holding off to register a set at the eleventh hour, I personally don?t see any problem with
that.] Commemoratives have always been my main interest and I began acquiring PCGS MS70 modern
commemoratives in 1993 because I had come to the conclusion that PCGS was the premier grading
service. But I had never paid much attention to the Set Registry until PCGS announced these upcoming
awards for best new sets, and then I thought, ?Hmmmm . . . .? A dozen ?holes? remained in my
collection where I lacked PCGS-slabbed coins, so I have spent the past couple of months tidying up my
set before submitting it. The modern commem afficionados can be on the lookout for a new set soon to
appear on the Registry.

MEANWHILE, still tying up loose ends, I am trying to locate two modern commemorative gold $5's that I
need in PCGS MS70: the 1996-W Smithsonian and 1996-W Olympic Cauldron (a.k.a. ?flame brazier?).
I am hoping that someone who owns these, but perhaps whose main interest may lie in other series,
may be willing to let them go. If you have these coins in MS70 or can put me in touch with someone
who does, please PM me or send an email to bowena@stargate.net. I would be very grateful!
