Cert & Holder Question

Hi Everyone,

I am hoping to get some opinions on a recent card I purchased in regards to the cert/label and the holder. I did a little research last night and referenced the thread by twiley (which was generously posted by jeffcbay) and I believe the cert/label and holder to be flip style #2 (1992-1999). I also compared the cert/label and holder to others in my collection and what is currently listed on ebay and everything seems to match. I don't see any signs of tampering with the case and the card doesn't seem to be doctored or a counterfeit (all the trademarks look good under magnification). I even scanned the barcode and the correct cert came up. I am not completely familiar with the older cases and certs and any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just to answer your PM here, as the others have said it looks fine, in fact for an older holder it is in very nice condition.

Nice card.

Case is fine for sure.

You can tell its pre-1/2 grade ( grade is one line vs. 2) and by the white on the case in back and not within the case it an older case

Thanks for your the positive feedback. Overall the case looks good but it has a few scratches (I guess that should be expected for an older holder) but I am trying to buff them out with PlastX.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their opinions and the information they have provided me on the cert, holder, and card. I am glad the board offers access to veteran collectors who are so familiar with the hobby and PSA.
