High End Yaz rookie

I was just searching eBay completed items for "1960 Topps Yastrzemski PSA 7". There are ten listed. Nine sold for between $200-$300. The tenth sold for $985. Wow. I guess two people think it could be an "8"?

You can get an 8 for under $700. Must be thinking 9?

Kind of risky to speculate like that. It looks like a strong 8, but there's likely a reason it got a 7 that's not obvious from the scan.

Lots of stray print dots on that one. Don't think it's going north, grade wise.

The last legit looking bid was $290. After that high % bidders, very low # bidders (like 3 bids in 30 days), bid retractors. Just my take.

Speaking of print dots, that card is an absolute monster to get without stray ink all over it.

I happened to be following this one because I had an interest in it and was shocked when it went for this price. I believe I had mentioned it in another thread. I am not saying it was shilled, but even if it was, there are still 2 people willing to pay $975 & $546 for it?
