Which P Pucks to slab?

edgaredgar Posts: 886 ✭✭✭✭
Hey P Puck holders;

I have accumulated 2 of each P pucks to date. They remain sealed in First Strike eligible boxes. I have watched the value of some soar with condition rarity. I have watched the value of some remain at issue price, even before grading costs. I usually walk a bunch of first strike boxes to Baltimore, each show (saves on cost and security of shipping).
My question; Which P Pucks to slab "First Strike", and which to ignore in their mint shipped boxes? First Strike Puck slabbing aint cheap at Modern $16.00, First Strike $18.00. and oversized holder $20.00, or $54.00 per slab with other incidental costs.

Does anyone know if the new secure slabs come in oversize yet?

Thanx for your opinion(s)

    Hawaii and Acadia, the 2010s and the 2011s.

    If its a set for yourself to keep, maybe send an entire set in with first strike? I know its expensive, but if its for you to keep, it might be worth it.

    Hawaii and Arcadia for sure. Might want to take a look on ebay and see what is trading 50-100% higher than issue price. There are several.

    Add trueview in and get that to $64/slab image
    Gold is for savings. Fiat is for transactions.

    check 2012 issues' sales prices, especially hawaii then acadia. I'm guessing the 2012's are at least warm if not hot.
