How does re-holdering work?

If you request a re-holder does PSA still review the card?
I have a holder that may have been tampered with
But I am not sure. Wondering how they handle that?

Post a picture of the holder with a black background. If you have a scanner, turn the lights off in the room and scan with top open on scanner. Sounds crazy but works.

I just dropped off 2 cards to be reholdeded. $5 plus shipping.

I think what he's asking is, if PSA thinks the card holder has been tampered with, will they just reholder it anyway, or will they not.

Good question, I'm not sure either.

They will not and you'll get a phone call. If its an expensive card that had been switched you can request a letter with an explanation to help prove your case to get your money back. I believe there is an addition cost for this.

From my experiences with PSA, there is no way to predict what will happen. If the card has been switched they might refuse to reholder. I would agree with that policy.
