Those are flat out elegant. The combination of beautifully-designed cards and well-chosen photos, with the autograph thoughtfully placed is downright compelling. Henderson(s), another Ozzie Smith, another Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson x4, Don Sutton, Rod Carew, Mike Schmidt x3, another Jim Palmer, Jim Rice. And soon to need all the 2015 HOFers

Copper, I'm laughing with you on waiting for another good monthly special. Your want list is daunting, but not impossible. Take it slow and steady. I'm rather certain you have your "ears to the rails", where your wanted cards are concerned. Have you assessed what dealers might have your desired missing cards? I know one must be careful; in other words, obsessed eager anxious desire sometimes receives jacked-up prices. On the other hand, sometimes dealers and other collectors "reward" fine effort, as yours, with genuine help and fair prices. That has happened often as well. Once you've completed your task, a well-written article for the PSA monthly magazine documenting your collecting adventure, filled with your thoughts and feelings about what these mean to you, and, to the point, what particular dealers and collectors helped you in your pursuit will do wonders to recommend those helpful, fair dealers to others and help their own business. As you know, us collectors, when it comes to those we deal with, share "the good, the bad, and the ugly", much to some jerk's regret later on down the "ro-ad".

Anyway, again, great collecting so far, bro! As the time passes, perhaps, if you haven't already done so, plan and/or prepare how you would enjoy displaying them to their best. With the emphasis on Topps Allen & Ginter white backgrounds, some sort of dark background (purple crushed velvet, or dark blue velvet) would seem to be in order. Do as you wish, of course. I also have Mays and Aaron out on private signings, but with both of their recent health problems the signings have been pushed back. I'm sure this years set will have Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson and Smoltz so two of those 3 with be pricey. It will be interesting. Thanks for your comments.

I am also working in PSA /DNA 2011 Topps Heritage set with a grade, so I really need that good special....

Yeah looks like with the checklist out now, there will be no current HOFers in the new set. I suppose they will have buy backs, but I'm not going to mess with them.

Does anybody have stats about carlton's and kaline's TTM return rates?

Kaline is 82%, but failures are mostly due to no donation. $10 per cash seems to be the norm.
Carlton is 75%, failures from not including his required donation which is currently $32 per (1 included inscription), check payable to the Grace Fund, sent c/o Game Winner Sports.

Prices are for cards, Kaline generally doesn't do inscriptions.
