1982 Fleer Test w/ PWCC

Any experts on these 82 Fleer test cards?
PWCC has some coming up. Is the Dan Ford of Ripken
More rare that the regular Ripken? Value?

i believe there was a thread on these cards at least a year ago. maybe two. the search button should work if you don't get many replies.
i myself am not familiar with them

Both are MUCH rarer than the regular Ripken. Pretend that the word "MUCH" was even more capitalized than it was. More. More. There, that's about right.

Obviously the demand for test cards (i.e., cards cut from sheets that should never have made it out the door in the first place) is infinitesimally smaller than for the regular cards. That said, if everyone reading this thread tries to buy an '82 Fleer Test Ripken card sometime in the future, they wouldn't be able to. The Dan Ford is easier to obtain because Ripken/Ripken is more desirable. Both were printed in the same quantities.

I'll weigh in on the set as a whole a bit later (off to breakfast), but if someone can locate the old thread in the meantime it will save me typing. Typing is fun, but pancakes are funner. image

I believe the Test variation is with the name Dave (not Dan) Ford.....I have a couple of these that I'd love to have slabbed at somepoint
